Anti Discrimination News

GENDER IDENTITY

As of the 31st March 2003 new amendments to the Anti Discrimination Act 1991 came into being; we cannot be discriminated against or treated unfairly on the grounds of our GENDER IDENTITY or Transgender status. As we identify as a member of the opposite sex and/or seek to live as the opposite sex. Or are of indeterminate sex and seek to live as a member of a particular sex.

VILIFICATION

Is a public act that causes others to hate you or our transgender community, have serious contempt for or severely ridicule you. Meaning that apart from those involved, could other people see it? Hear it? Or read it? If it happened in private, it is not vilification. For more detailed information click onto the links provided.
