Trans Youth Australia & New Zealand

The purpose of Trans Youth Australia & New Zealand s to provide a social and supportive environment and outlet for youth of transgender, intersex, and questioning. We provide group interaction and individual support by providing age appropriate resources that facilitate empowerment and self-acceptance.

Trans Youth Australia and New Zealand is a peer community for younger people whose gender identity differs from their birth-assigned gender. Gender variant, transgender, and gender questioning youth can safely explore their gender and meet other like minded youth in a group for youth by youth.

We provide a forum for discussion, Trans informational resources and the ability to reach out to other like-minded individuals and find significant supportive relationships among ourselves.

What we are creating is a real community with a life of its own. We strongly believe we are unique yet normal people and will promote Australian/New Zealand support groups, governments, schools, universities and TAFE’s to see we are no different than any other youths in the community.

Our members are actively building our community. We are constantly looking for new contributions and members and your suggestions for the future direction of TSYouthAust & New Zealand. The group is firmly committed to the continuation of our mission in addition will advocate the importance of such a group to gender variant, transgender, and gender questioning youth.

Note: Membership in TSYouthAust & New Zealand is for people from 8 to 30 years old who identify as gender variant, transgender, or gender questioning.
